spiNative is a research and education center that aims to bring our country to the first place in spinach exports with the production of native spinach seeds. Within spiNative, professors who are experts in their fields conduct research on seed development, fertilizer use and hydroponic agriculture water system, and provide seed and fertilizer production. On weekends, lectures and training are given to students of the faculty of agriculture, primary school and high school in order to raise individuals who are more conscious about agriculture in the future. The seeds obtained from spinach grown with hydroponic farming in vertical structures are packaged through various processes, and the remaining spinach produces fertilizer and contributes to soil agriculture. Sustainability is aimed by producing local seeds by using the seeds produced in the facility together with the fertilizers produced in spiNative.
spiNative, yerel ıspanak tohumları üretimi ile ülkemizin ıspanak ihracatında birinci konuma gelmesini amaçlayan bir araştırma ve eğitim merkezi. spiNative içerisinde alanında uzman profesörler tohum geliştirme, gübre kullanımı ve hidroponik tarım su sistemi hakkında araştırmalar yürütüyor, tohum ve gübre üretimini sağlıyor. Haftasonları ise ziraat fakültesi öğrencilerine, ilkokul ve lise öğrencilerine gelecekte tarım hakkında daha bilinçli bireyler yetiştirmek için dersler ve eğitimler veriliyor. Dikey yapıların içerisinde hidroponik tarım ile yetişen ıspanaklardan elde edilen tohumlar çeşitli işlemlerden geçerek paketleniyor, geride kalan ıspanaklardan ise gübre üretilip topraklı tarıma katkı sağlanıyor. spiNative içerisinde üretilen gübreler ile birlikte tekrar tesis içerisinde üretilen tohumlar bir arada kullanılarak yeniden yerel tohum üretilerek bir sürdürülebilirlik amaçlanıyor.
