After the last earthquake, many shops and stores in Hatay were destroyed, leaving the people of the region in an economic difficult situation. In order to meet the economic and social needs of Hatay, a grand bazaar project including various shops and restaurants was designed. This project was prepared in accordance with the rich historical texture of Hatay, inspired by the architecture of historical inns. The bazaar stands out with wide corridors opening to courtyards, arched passages and traditional architectural elements. In this way, a structure that meets the requirements of modern trade and preserves the historical texture is created. The project will include various shops that will offer different products and services. Local handicrafts, restaurants offering traditional Hatay cuisine and modern shops will add diversity and liveliness to the bazaar. At the same time, there will be social activity areas and recreation areas within the bazaar, making the bazaar not only a shopping center but also a social meeting point.
